Camping Les 3 Lacs is an outdoor establishment located in Sugiez (Vully, Fribourg), in a privileged natural setting between lakes, vineyards and mountains. The campsite welcomes a varied, family and international clientele, and focuses on the quality of the environment and services. The green spaces, gardens and landscaping play a central role in the experience offered to holidaymakers. The on-site team works collaboratively to provide a clean, pleasant and safe environment throughout the season.
Job Description
As a Garden/Green Space Assistant - Landscaper, you participate in the daily care of the campsite’s outdoor areas: lawn mowing, hedge trimming, weeding, leaf collection, creation and maintenance of flower beds. You ensure watering, monitoring of irrigation systems and the good health of the plants, taking into account seasonal constraints and environmental guidelines. You also work on small landscaping projects (planting, lawn restoration, minor earthworks, paving, flagging, fence installation, construction of small wooden or stone structures) in liaison with management. The position is full-time and based on site in Sugiez, with work mainly outdoors, requiring good physical condition and adherence to safety rules. You collaborate with other teams (technical, reception) to ensure a well-maintained and welcoming stay for residents and visitors.
Qualifications
- Master landscaping and green space maintenance: mowing, trimming, weeding, plant care.
- Have skills in landscaping: understanding planting, harmonising spaces, respecting the site’s aesthetics.
Knowledge of plants, trees, soils and pruning techniques
- Know irrigation techniques: manual and automatic watering, adjustment and control of installations.
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in green spaces, horticulture, landscaping or equivalent training (CFC, CAP/BEP, vocational baccalaureate or significant experience).
- Know how to use and maintain small equipment and maintenance machines (mowers, hedge trimmers, brushcutters), respect safety instructions and work as part of a team.
Operation of specific machines and tools: professional mowers, dumper, mini-excavators as needed.
- Demonstrate a sense of service, rigour, autonomy, organisation and be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
