Deployed on several sites, the Lavigny Institution is looking for full or part-time nurses, fixed-term or permanent contracts. The Lavigny Institution consists of a neurological hospital across two sites, two accommodation departments for adults with disabilities, one with intellectual impairment and the other with physical impairment, a specialized school, and a hospital department. The Lavigny Institution is one of the reference centers in the Romandy region for brain injuries requiring neurological care, or suffering from difficult-to-treat epilepsy. The opening of the University Service of Neurology (SUN) on July 1 marked the establishment of a structure linking two institutions, CHUV and the Lavigny Hospital, with the intention of offering Vaud residents a service of excellence through the establishment of a university service that will serve as a center of expertise for the canton and will collaborate with all clinical stakeholders. SUN commits to ensuring a close link between clinical care and the development of research in key areas of the hospital department, which is expanding and developing while keeping alive the values it holds dear: kindness, equity, respect, and responsibility in a managerial approach. To complement our care team, we are looking for: Full or part-time nurses, fixed-term or permanent contracts. Main tasks: Organize and provide nursing care in coherence with the clinical pathway of neurological patients, in collaboration with the entire interdisciplinary team, and in conjunction with the hospitalized patient and their relatives. Integrate the objectives of the institution into daily care. Perform medical acts usually delegated to care staff on medical prescription. Inform, guide, and provide information to the patient and their entourage. Encourage and participate in health promotion measures in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Participate in the education and development of colleagues, nursing students, interns, apprentices, and staff. Requirements: A degree in nursing (HES) or general nursing, or an equivalent qualification. Skills to work in an interdisciplinary manner. Experience in neurology and care, or an interest in training in this field. The ability to work and/or an internship experience represents a good capacity and a sense of responsibility.
