We will work together on a fixed-term contract - Water and Gas Network Installer. As an experienced Network Installer, you will perform maintenance work on the drinking water distribution network to ensure the supply of water to customers. Starting January 1, the EPG (Drinking Water Gas) activity will also require you to intervene on the Water and Gas Construction unit (CEG) of the Drinking Water Gas (EPG) activity under the Thermal, Gas and Water Department (TGE). Its mission is to guarantee the continuity and quality of drinking water distribution, as well as studies and works related to the drinking water network and the energy services for a sustainable Geneva. Your tasks will include: Performing extension and renewal works of pipes according to current regulations and safety standards; Preparing the necessary parts and tools for the sites; Conducting leakage tests on the network; Participating in internal exchanges and providing a first level of response to clients and workers on sites; Contributing to the promotion of the brand image. With good physical condition, you are able to work outside and in a difficult and cramped environment; Your team spirit is essential for collaboration and the smooth functioning within the teams; Knowledge in the field of gas is a plus that will give you versatility; A driving license is required; Academic background requirements You hold a vocational diploma in plumbing, or an equivalent qualification, and you master the general techniques, the use of tools, and the standards in the field; We regularly welcome young graduates to offer them a first professional experience within a determined period of one year. It is understood that young graduates refers to individuals who have completed their studies in the last 18 months, seeking a first professional experience related to their academic background. The salary will be calculated based on a reference annual salary of CHF .-- gross (base 100%) spread across thirteen salaries depending on your level of diploma.
