We are going to carry out together a Fixed-Term First Employment - Manager in the Cadastre unit and encourage Smart technologies (management and geolocated data of GIS) to make tomorrow a sustainable and connected society. We collect, analyze, and share geographical and multi-fluid data related to various projects impacting the underground throughout the canton of Geneva. Your energy in the service of a sustainable Geneva.As part of your role, you will be in charge of: - Taking responsibility for simple projects and ensuring their management; - Ensuring accurate and complete field surveys of all types of networks according to the procedures of the unit; - Updating network objects in accordance with field surveys, according to data entry rules and readability criteria of the system both in the field and in the office; - Using the mobile drawing interface for all types of networks; - Participating in surveying work commissioned internally by engineering; - Contributing to the efficiency of your unit and the proper functioning of the systems.Your personality and skills: Equipped with a strong sense of interpersonal relations, you know how to establish a relationship of trust, show tact, and maintain communication. You express yourself clearly and know how to communicate and simplify technical processes to your partners and clients as well as convey them to your colleagues. Your mastery of surveying techniques—especially the use of geodesy instruments—comes with an excellent knowledge of mapping tools such as ArcGIS Pro, and you have a very good understanding of academic environments.Academic background: CFC (Federal Certificate of Proficiency) in or related field. Your salary will be calculated based on a reference annual salary of CHF .-- gross (base 100%) distributed over thirteen salaries.
