Your missions
  • Ensure the strategic management of the budgets of the University IT Directorate (DIT)
  • Supervise the operational management of the DIT budgets
  • Ensure financial controlling and budget planning
  • Manage the administrative lifecycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to decommissioning)
  • Define software asset management processes to ensure control
  • Identify synergies in the software portfolio, support standardisation and implement optimisation measures
  • Ensure the quality of the workstation inventory (PC, Mac & Linux), in collaboration with the Service Desk team
  • Measure and continuously improve the processes and procedures within the area of responsibility
Desired profile
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic field or equivalent training
  • You have experience in financial management and procurement (public contracts), ideally in an IT context
  • You have experience in software asset management
  • You value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organisation
  • You are able to negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers, while being attentive to their constraints
  • You demonstrate a strong service and results orientation. The principles of continuous improvement hold no secrets for you and you are comfortable with project management principles
  • You master French or German with good knowledge of the other language; additionally, you have written and spoken command of English
