We are currently looking for our future Field Service Technician, passionate about technology, excellence, and customer contact. This full-time permanent position is based at our site in Mex (Vaud) – the headquarters and production site of BOBST. As an ambassador of BOBST to our customers, you represent the excellence of our service in the field. Through your expertise and professionalism, you contribute to ensuring the performance, reliability, and value of our equipment at our customers' sites. With availability to travel 150 to 200 days per year, you will undertake missions lasting several days or weeks and play a decisive role in the success of our services. Responsibilities: Assemble, install, and commission our cutting equipment and machines at our customers' sites in Switzerland and abroad. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and technically assist our customers as well as our teams in safety, maintenance of our equipment, and technical matters. Collaborate closely with the Technical Support, R&D, and Marketing teams to ensure the highest quality of service. Carry out upgrades, PIPs, retrofits, technical audits, and preventive maintenance of our solutions. Why join us? Profile: CFC in electrical engineering or equivalent technical qualification. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the printing industry. Proficiency in English (any other language is a plus). Driving license. You are passionate about industrial equipment, continuous learning, and sharing knowledge. You are comfortable in diverse environments and know how to easily establish trustful relationships with others. You are organized, autonomous, have excellent communication skills, and manage time well. Flexibility allows you to meet the demands of your role. You master office tools.
