Description

You will act as a key technical interface between REGENHU and its customers, focusing on advanced operation of our bioprinting systems and the development of complex additive manufacturing workflows. This role combines customer-facing application work with system-level expertise, without machine development or wet-lab activities.

You will complement our existing FAE team by bringing strong hardware and workflow knowledge, helping customers get the most out of our technology, and supporting pre-sales demonstrations, trainings, and advanced post-sales projects.

Main responsibilities

Application & Pre-Sales

  • Operate REGENHU’s bioprinting platforms at an expert level and demonstrate advanced system capabilities
  • Develop, optimize, and explain complex additive manufacturing workflows (toolpaths, process parameters, multi-material workflows)
  • Guide customers in configuring their systems and translating their goals into robust printing strategies.
  • Support pre-sales activities with technical evaluations, demos, and recommendations
  • Follow customer projects and provide hands-on workflow support (remote or on-site)
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, providing feedback to internal teams on technical differentiators, customer needs, and market opportunities

Post-Sales Training & Advanced Support

  • Deliver in-depth system and workflow training to new and advanced users
  • Help customers troubleshoot system-level issues from a power-user perspective
  • Contribute to documentation, application guides, webinars, and technical content

Service Backup

  • Act as a secondary resource for installations or troubleshooting when Customer Support is overloaded
  • Perform basic component adjustments or replacements when required (not a primary responsibility)

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or related field)
  • 3–5 years of experience with complex technical systems: 3D printing, CNC, robotics, automation, instrumentation, or similar
  • Advanced operator-level understanding of mechatronic systems (motion control, precision mechanics, extrusion, thermal control)
  • Ability to read, modify, and tune G-code and understand its impact on print behavior
  • Experience developing or optimizing additive manufacturing workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset across mechanics, electronics, and software interactions
  • Excellent communication skills; confident and credible with both researchers and engineers
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly, adapting depth to the audience

Why join us?

  • Contribute to systems used by top research labs worldwide and help shape the next generation of bioprinting workflows
  • Work in a small, multidisciplinary team (FAE + Customer Support + Sales), with high visibility and real impact
  • Participate in international customer interactions across Europe, the Americas, and Asia
  • Enjoy a mix of autonomy, hands-on work, and collaboration with R&D, Applications, and Support teams
  • Travel up to 30%, mostly planned and predictable
