FER CIAM is the Geneva agency of the largest interprofessional AVS fund in Switzerland, FER Genève, created by FER Genève and fully integrated into its ecosystem of services for member companies.

With nearly 47,500 affiliates "” including companies and self-employed individuals "” it is one of the key players in social protection in French-speaking Switzerland.

On a daily basis, its teams manage the collection of 2.425 billion francs in AVS and unemployment insurance contributions, as well as the payment of more than 876 million francs in AVS, AI and loss of earnings benefits. In parallel, they ensure the administration of family allowances and the application of collective labour agreements.

Job Description

Your mission:

You support our beneficiaries with kindness and professionalism. You manage your files independently, relying on the current legal and regulatory frameworks, and actively contribute to quality service, in a spirit of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities:

File management

  • Processing, calculation and decision-making on family allowance claims
  • Management of family allowance benefits in accordance with federal, cantonal legislation and applicable European regulations
  • Issuing recovery decisions for unduly paid benefits

Digital transformation business referent

  • Participate in drafting user documentation
  • Participate in the development of procedures, specifications and testing
  • Participate in drafting user documentation
  • Train and support colleagues
  • Be the business contact point post-production and for the deployment of successive versions

Client & partner relations

  • Attentive support of beneficiaries, in coordination with public and private partner institutions
  • Active collaboration with other FER CIAM services
  • Professional telephone reception according to FER Genève quality standards

Administrative work

  • Writing routine correspondence in compliance with legal obligations

Profile sought

Education and experience

  • Commercial employee CFC or equivalent recognised training
  • Solid experience in file analysis and management
  • Very good knowledge of Swiss social insurances

Technical skills

  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of German (B2 level an asset)
  • Good writing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interest in IT tools and application environments
  • Experience and/or interest in testing and deploying IT tools

Personal skills

  • Dynamism, rigour, responsiveness and flexibility in the service of an open mind
  • Excellent sense of service and human contact, with real listening skills and confirmed ease in conducting telephone interviews
