Extracurricular Sector Manager at 90%To improve the quality of extracurricular team supervision, the Intercommunal Group for Extracurricular Activities is looking for several Extracurricular Sector Managers at 90%.Faced with the challenge of a growing number of children in extracurricular care and the construction of new schools in the Canton of Geneva, the Intercommunal Group for Extracurricular Activities must recruit more staff to fulfill its mission and meet the needs of all families. Its mission is to welcome primary school students during the lunch break and in the late afternoon, assuming a duty of development complementary to that of the family, the school, and extracurricular activities.MissionsAs a Sector Manager, you will play a central role in the supervision, management, and development of teams. Your main role will be to pilot and coordinate an extracurricular sector by supervising all managerial and operational activities. You will be the driving force of an environment centered on quality and continuous improvement of practices.Team management: Supervise, evaluate, and support a team of 20 to 40 staff members spread across different locations, ensuring a local presence and team dynamics.Quality of services: Guarantee a high level of quality in services by identifying and ensuring the deployment of institutional best practices.Projects: Pilot high-impact projects in the field, in line with institutional objectives.Field presence: Ensure an active and regular presence at the various sites in your sector, requiring rigorous organization and a means of mobility.Skills development: Carry out regular follow-ups and assessments with staff, encourage and promote training (individual and/or collective) to foster team skill development, and integrate new approaches and practices.Communication: Play a key role in the communication between teams, Management, and partners.Profile- HES degree or equivalent title.- Certification in team management, a leadership style that is both demanding and benevolent with an ability to unite teams.- Mastery of interpersonal skills: active listening, adapted communication, stress management, and ability to evolve in a changing environment.- Experience: Several years of successful experience in team management or in the social/educational field.- Knowledge of the school and Geneva landscape, advanced knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).- Ability to plan, coordinate, and pilot complex projects.Why join us?Joining the GIAP means:- Integrating an organization committed to the well-being of children and educational quality.- Benefiting from an environment that values continuous training and professional fulfillment.- Actively participating in ambitious projects to improve the quality of services in a stimulating setting, in collaboration with local partners and dynamic teams.Conditions and benefits:- Mobility required in the canton with a suitable means of transport for travel between sites.- 16 weeks of school holidays.- Pension fund.- Permanent contract.- Start date: to be agreed upon.Please send your complete application file (CV, cover letter, diplomas, and work certificates).
