Mission:As an Expert Engineer within the R&D department of a product line at BOBST, your main mission will be to design and implement systems for our equipment, which includes: - The description and analysis of needs.- Software development in the fields of machine safety and human-machine interfaces (HMI).- Close collaboration with hardware teams to ensure consistency of functionalities on the machine or at the customer site depending on the cases.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain safety software and integrate tests into CI pipelines.- Implement solutions from cross-functional teams responsible for developing tools that facilitate the commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment.- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.- Participate in the commissioning and implementation of new machine functions at production sites or customer premises.Profile sought:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.- Expertise in object-oriented programming (ideally Delphi).- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git, and OPC-UA as well as databases (PostgreSQL) is a plus.- Proficiency in French and English at a level that enables transforming concepts into robust solutions, working with modern technologies (Azure DevOps, Git), and thriving in a cutting-edge industrial environment motivates you; this role is for you.Join us – and grow with us.Join a company where engineering makes sense.
