EXPERIENCED NANNY – ENGLISH-SPEAKING, DRIVER & FLEXIBLE TO TRAVEL WITH THE FAMILY – PERMANENT 50% POSITION – GENEVA 1204 – ASAP
Geneva – 1204 Start date: As soon as possible Permanent contract – 50% – 20 hours per week Tuesday to Friday, 1:00 pm–6:00 pm BeeBoo is looking for an experienced, dynamic, attentive and proactive nanny for a family based in Geneva, to care for their 2-year-old daughter. The child attends nursery school in the mornings from Tuesday to Friday. The nanny will therefore take over each afternoon and care for her until the parents return home. Above all, the family is looking for someone who can provide high-quality, stimulating care adapted to the development of a very active 2-year-old. Outings, games, age-appropriate activities, discoveries and shared moments should naturally be part of her afternoons. The parents are looking for the right person to build a long-term relationship with their daughter and ideally someone whose availability allows for a certain degree of flexibility around the position.WORKING HOURS
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 1:00 pm–6:00 pm A total of 20 hours per week – 50% position. Mondays are off. Some flexibility would be appreciated to occasionally extend the working day slightly or accommodate additional family needs, subject to prior agreement with the nanny.RESPONSIBILITIES
The nanny’s responsibilities will include:- taking care of the child after nursery school;
- ensuring her well-being, safety and daily routines;
- providing varied, stimulating and age-appropriate activities;
- organising outings, walks, games and developmental activities;
- encouraging her independence and supporting her development;
- preparing and serving snacks and, depending on the schedule, meals;
- taking care of her hygiene and comfort;
- keeping her belongings and spaces clean and organised;
- communicating smoothly with the parents and ensuring consistency in her routines.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The family is looking for someone who:- has proven experience caring for children around 2 years old, ideally as a nanny within private families;
- is flexible and available to travel with the family;
- is dynamic, energetic and naturally proactive;
- is gentle, warm and attentive while knowing how to stimulate and engage a young child;
- is able to take initiative and spontaneously suggest activities;
- is reliable, punctual, organised and autonomous;
- would ideally make this position their main professional commitment, allowing them to maintain some flexibility for the family;
- has a very good level of English, ideally with excellent spoken English;
- ideally holds a driving licence, although this is not essential.
