 **Why we are recruiting** 

To strengthen the leadership capacity of the Security Affairs function in response to the growing scale and complexity of global events and increased business travel, we are recruiting a Lead Event Security professional to act as the deputy to the Global Events Security Manager.

**Reporting Lines & Interactions** 

Reports to the Global Events Security Manager and serves as the second-in-command for event security operations.
Works closely with internal teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners, including public authorities and private security providers.

**Breakdown of main responsibilities ** 

* 70% Event security leadership and planning
* 30% Operational oversight and coordination 

**The successful candidate will be assessed on ** 

* Act as deputy to the Global Events Security Manager, ensuring continuity and leadership across all event security activities
* Support the planning and execution of security operations for major events (e.g. Annual Meeting, AMNC), in close coordination with the Global Events Security Manager
* Independently lead and deliver security planning and operations for smaller and mid-sized events
* Oversee security concepts and operational plans across the event portfolio
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Swiss and international law enforcement, and vendors
* Provide on-site leadership during events, including team coordination and incident management 

**Preferred Requirements and Experience** 

* Academic degree or equivalent and previous experience working in the field of security, law enforcement or military.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, French and German, an additional language is an asset
* Strong organizational skills Experience in project management 
* Very good command of Microsoft Office applications
