Occupational TherapistOccupational therapy aims to maintain, acquire, or restore optimal autonomy in daily life, professional life, and leisure activities, with the greatest possible safety. It acts according to the potential and constraints of the environment of the person. In temporary care units, the occupational therapist ensures interventions autonomously, while respecting the lifestyle habits, beliefs, values, and culture of the person. They work in an interdisciplinary and interprofessional manner, respecting the mission and objectives of the institution.Missions and responsibilities- Provide, in synergy with the multidisciplinary team, upon medical prescription, occupational therapy interventions for people limited in their capacity to act due to illness, accident, or age-related problems.- Promote the development and/or maintenance of independence and autonomy of the person in daily life activities, through rehabilitation and compensation measures.- Lead group and community activities.Profile of the occupational therapist- Red Cross recognition.- Diversified experience of at least two years in a hospital setting or nursing home.- Experience in leading therapeutic groups.- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and autonomous manner.- Good knowledge of the socio-sanitary fabric and the Geneva aid and care network will be an asset.Additional information- Start date: to be agreed upon.- Application deadline: - Please attach to your file:- A current curriculum vitae.- A cover letter.- A copy of your diplomas and your work certificates.- We only consider complete applications.
