Do you make things happen — turning a backlog into working software, while growing the engineers around you? As an Engineering Manager, you are the driving force behind the product team. You take full ownership of your team's delivery, ensure we build the right things the right way, and create an environment where engineers can do their best work. We are looking to grow our Engineering leadership with an Engineering Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & People Management- Lead, coach and grow a team of Engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.- Meet regularly with direct reports, provide frequent and actionable feedback, and support individual goal-setting and career development.- Make independent decisions for the team; use your skills in handling complex personnel management.- Lead recruiting efforts with support from the Director, contributing to headcount planning.Delivery & Execution- Turn the product backlog into working software — effectively and efficiently — by clearly communicating and ensuring tasks are completed according to acceptance criteria without micromanaging.- Contribute to bug fixes, tech tasks, and small features without becoming a bottleneck for the team.- Act as the team's vacuum cleaner function: protect your engineers' focus so they can deliver value.- Facilitate technical decision-making on the team, making calls when necessary.Technical Oversight- Understand and champion agile and XP-driven software development practices.- Maintain a solid understanding of privacy, security, and the quality, observability, and robustness of the team's systems.- Identify and address technical debt proactively in collaboration with architects and product managers.- Set an example and proponent of company values within and beyond your team.- Coach others in acting on their development.- Work closely with product managers, solution analysts, and architects to ensure the team succeeds.What you bring:- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field.- Experience leading and managing software engineering teams.- Agile/XP technical background — you understand how software is built, even if you no longer write it every day.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to give and receive candid feedback.- Experience in a fast-moving product or telco environment is a plus.- Fluency in French and English.Plus in Your ProfileWe are embracing AI-assisted development as part of how we build software; experience in this area will stand out:- Hands-on experience with AI-based development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar).- Ability to guide your team in the safe, effective, and responsible adoption of AI coding assistants.- Understanding of how AI tools integrate into the SDLC — from code review to testing and deployment.- Curiosity about the evolving AI development landscape and enthusiasm for sharing learnings with your team.What we offer- An exciting and dynamic environment with a unique start-up culture where proactivity and personal commitment are highly valued.- 5 weeks holidays.- 20% Home office.- Mobile subscription valid across Europe.- Exclusive offers and discounts on our products and services. jid55a1bb0aen jit0418aen jpiy26aen
