Engineer in Ittigen, Switzerland (and remote work) | %What you can contribute Serve as a structural expert within the Swiss or European context for aircraft, standard or special (Experimental and feasibility) aircraft. Verify plans and tests and participate in the execution of tests. Verify load calculations, structural strength, damage tolerance, and flutter. Independently manage types of incidents and necessary corrective actions (service bulletins and airworthiness directives). What makes you unique Degree in aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering with a specialization in light structures obtained from a higher education institution or a specialized university. Minimum X years of experience in the design and/or development of aircraft in the field of structures. Experience with composites as well as knowledge of cabin safety requirements. Knowledge of regulations and standards (national law, EASA, FAA) and project management experience. Strong team spirit and solid communication skills combined with experience in working environments in Switzerland and abroad. Good active knowledge of at least one additional language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third language and very good knowledge of English.
