HYDRO Exploitation SA is a leading service provider primarily active in the operation and maintenance of electrical production facilities. Under one roof, we bring together all the specific skills of our profession, from maintenance staff to engineering.
We operate a portfolio of facilities including more than 40 hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of about 22% of the Swiss hydroelectric fleet (25% including pumped storage). Together, these facilities produce nearly 16% of Swiss hydroelectric energy.

Civil Engineer
Workplace: Hybrid (Sion and Upper Valais)
Your mission:
You will ensure the completion of studies and projects in the field of civil engineering for the operation and maintenance of hydroelectric facilities, including sites located in Upper Valais.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and implement technical solutions within maintenance and renewal projects for hydroelectric installations
- Contribute to all project phases, from feasibility study to realisation and commissioning
- Collaborate on diverse engineering projects combining multidisciplinary skills
- Ensure monitoring and technical support for our various production sites
- Prepare technical and financial offers for our clients
Your skills:
- HES or EPF engineer in civil engineering
- Experience in construction or maintenance of structures
- Expertise in underground structures or hydraulics would be an asset
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary studies
- Analytical mind with good organisational and anticipatory skills
- Ability to work in a team and manage tasks independently
- Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
