HYDRO Exploitation SA is an important service provider, particularly active in the operation and maintenance of power generation plants. We bring together all the necessary skills under one roof, from maintenance personnel to engineering.

We operate and maintain a plant portfolio with more than 40 hydropower plants. Their installed capacity corresponds to approximately 22% of the hydropower capacity available in Switzerland (25% including the pumping stations). Together, the plants we operate generate about 16% of the hydropower electricity in Switzerland.

Civil Engineer

Workplace : Sion with assignments in Upper Valais

Your mission :

You will take on the execution of studies and projects in the field of civil engineering for the operation and maintenance of hydropower plants, including sites in Upper Valais.

Your tasks :

• Development and implementation of maintenance and renewal projects at hydropower plants
• Participation in all project phases, from feasibility study to completion and commissioning
• Collaboration on various engineering projects with multidisciplinary skills
• Ensuring technical support for the various production sites
• Preparation of technical and financial offers for our customers

Your skills :

• Civil engineer ETH or FH
• Professional experience in construction or plant maintenance
• Knowledge of underground structures or hydraulics is an advantage
• Experience in project management
• Systemic thinking, organisational talent and foresight
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Native German or French speaker with very good knowledge of the other language
