Within the Department of Medicine, the Endocrinology Unit takes care of patients suffering from endocrine diseases and ensures the diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and comprehensive care of patients.Endocrinology Nurse - 60%Your mission is to conduct individual consultations (blood draws and diagnostic tests, treatment, follow-ups) for patients with endocrine conditions. The pathologies you may encounter concern diseases of the thyroid (hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism, nodules, goiter, or cancer), the pituitary gland (adenoma, pituitary insufficiency, diabetes insipidus), and the adrenal glands (adrenal insufficiency, tumors). They also include diseases of the ovaries and testicles, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, hirsutism, gynecomastia, hypogonadism, infertility, as well as certain genetic anomalies such as Turner and Klinefelter syndromes, menopause, and gender incongruence. You assist the physician in the treatment of thyroid nodules by radiofrequency ablation (treatment under ultrasound, requiring rigor, technique, and asepsis).You also accompany individuals in the process of gender transition. You also work in the Infectious Diseases Unit, which welcomes patients living with HIV, for regular follow-up and/or long-acting treatment injections. As part of a mission of general interest and prevention, this unit is also a reference center for the implementation of prophylactic treatments against HIV (PrEP, PEP). It has an anonymous screening center where prevention messages and advice on sexual health are provided. This activity will be complementary to the activity in endocrinology, at a rate of one day per week.You hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a title recognized as equivalent by the Red Cross. You have experience in a care unit of a minimum duration. A CAS or DAS in therapeutic education would be an asset. You are autonomous, have a keen sense of organization and priority management. You demonstrate ease in human relations and possess a real capacity for listening, empathy, and pedagogy. You analyze situations with rigor, synthesize essential information, and adapt to the unforeseen while effectively managing your stress. You understand and respect the various protocols for dynamic tests, in order to ensure their reliability for the diagnosis of various pathologies. You are able to adapt to teamwork. You have skills in therapeutic education, regarding adrenal insufficiency, learning technical gestures (injections) that patients will have to manage at home.
