EPFL has more than staff members who bring the school's three main missions to life: research and The EPFL campus offers an exceptional working environment in the heart of a community of more than people, including nearly students and researchers from more than 120 different countries.Employee Experience Partner - Doctoral StudentsMissionThe Employee Experience Partner - Doctoral Students provides advice and support to the doctoral community as a whole, including doctoral students as well as thesis directors for all questions regarding the management of specific and complex cases, while guaranteeing the compliance, quality, and consistency of tasks and responsibilities.- Supports and accompanies unit managers for all questions related to the management of doctoral students, from their arrival to their departure from EPFL (onboarding, end of contract period) and accompanies doctoral students throughout their career at EPFL- Develops, plans, and organizes training for doctoral students and unit managers on HR policies- Manages and ensures the follow-up of cases linked to doctoral students, in collaboration with the Employee Experience Partners of the concerned perimeter- Supports Employee Experience Partners in projects (restructuring, closures, etc.) regarding aspects related to doctoral students- Collaborates with Employee Experience Partners by sending them regular reports concerning the PhDs in their perimeter- Collaborates with the various centers of expertise- Guarantees the implementation of HR policies and legal frameworks- Actively contributes to internal and transversal projects, working groups, and workshops with the aim of developing our processes and tools linked to doctoral students- Team members provide help and support to colleagues, thus promoting collaboration, the fluidity of activities, and a spirit of mutual aid within the teamProfile- University degree or HES (University of Applied Sciences) degree, with a specialization in Human Resources, or equivalent (CAS in HR)- 8 years of experience in an analogous function with the same level of responsibilities within a large company - experience in the academic world constitutes a major asset- Ability to manage complex cases, defuse conflicts, and facilitate discussions- Very good communication skills and excellent ability to manage priorities and stress- Ability to create relationships of trust, and empathy are essential qualities- Good knowledge of Swiss legal and HR frameworks; knowledge of public law represents an asset- Proficiency in English and French- Solutions-oriented approach, analytical and synthesis skills- Ability to work in a network and developed team spiritWe offer- A dynamic and multicultural working environment in a multidisciplinary institution of international renown- Excellent working conditions- Possibilities for professional development- Start date: To be agreed- Min rate: 80.00- Max rate: 80.00- Type of contract: Permanent contract- Duration: Indefinite jid727bbe2aen jit0832aen jpiy26aen
