We are looking for an Emergency Response and Donor Manager for 6 months. Reporting to senior leadership, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in emergency response financing activities, engaging with donors and partners, and supporting decision-making in fast-evolving crisis contexts. The client is a leading intersection of global health, development finance, and emergency response. With a strong focus on mobilising resources and multi-stakeholder efforts, the role plays a critical role in responding to global health crises and strengthening preparedness frameworks.Missions1. Project Management- Act as the central point across multiple internal functions (programmes, resource health programmes, and legal teams).- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and governance processes to ensure alignment and timely delivery of key deliverables, monitor progress, and ensure effective follow-up on decisions and actions.- Support the preparation of high-level governance for senior leadership.2. Donor Engagement & External Relations- Lead the development of donor engagement plans, including briefing materials, messaging, and responses to funding requests.- Act as a focal point for coordinating and managing donor queries during crisis response.- Engage with key donors and investors to strengthen positioning and support fundraising efforts.- Coordinate cross-functional inputs to streamline stakeholder engagement and reduce burden on technical teams.- Support the preparation of materials for high-level events, forums, and investor meetings.3. Analysis & Scenario Planning- Conduct scenario planning for potential crisis evolution and assess requirements for funding needs and resource allocation to identify risks, opportunities, and options.- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership to inform decision-making.4. Reporting, Compliance & Governance- Oversee donor reporting processes during and after emergency response.- Ensure compliance with donor agreements and funding conditions in coordination with legal and finance teams.- Prepare comprehensive reports for governance bodies, including lessons learned from activities.- Contribute to the development of periodic reviews of financing mechanisms.5. Partnerships & Financing- Liaise with financial institutions and development partners on emerging financing mechanisms.- Monitor external developments in crisis financing frameworks and assess opportunities for alignment.- Contribute to broader efforts related to preparedness and response.Education- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Public Health, Development, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business or a related field.Experience- Minimum of 5 years experience in development, global health, development finance, resource mobilization, consulting, or emergency response.- Experience within an international institution, development finance institution, or donor agency is highly desirable.- Exposure to global health financing and donor ecosystems.Skills & Competencies- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in fast-paced environments.- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, including scenario planning and risk assessment.- Excellent writing and drafting skills, with experience preparing materials for senior stakeholder management and influencing.- Solid understanding of development finance, donor landscapes, and resource mobilization.- High level of adaptability, resilience, and ability to manage competing priorities.- Sound judgement, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.- Fluency in English required; additional languages (e.g., French) are a plus.Conditions et Avantages- 2 days of home office per week. jid2e2e051aen jit0727aen jpiy26aen
