We will work together Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering We will work together The Engineering Solutions and Projects activity offers innovative engineering solutions for the renewal and development of networks and GIS works, as well as new developments related to the City, Districts, and Smart Buildings in a multi-fluid and smart approach. It ensures the management of GIS engineering projects or external projects by guaranteeing deadlines, costs, quality, and risk management throughout the process. As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the design/studies (preliminary and detailed) of a portion of the electrical works and/or the monitoring of the corresponding works for infrastructure projects related to the transport and distribution of electricity (HT/MT substations, production plants, transport lines...), as well as managing the team of construction technicians in charge of energy for a sustainable Geneva. As an electrical engineer, your main tasks will be as follows: - Design projects developed during the preliminary study phase; - Carry out detailed study phase dimensioning and technical detail definition of the various equipment as well as the corresponding general estimate, company files, and analysis of the offers from consulted companies; - Prepare the various requests for the oversight and control bodies of electrical works; - Ensure the management and monitoring of works, coordination with different companies, and acceptance of completed works; - Write reports and documents necessary for investment decision-making, specifications based on your expertise, establish tender documents, and evaluate technical solutions; - Monitor companies and suppliers to ensure the correct execution of the works; - Coordinate the project team, interact with internal (Finance, Legal) and external stakeholders (e.g., partners, authorities); - Lead the team of construction technicians by implementing methodologies for schematics, developing tools to facilitate the work. Your profile and skills With excellent knowledge in MT/BT electrical engineering for HT/MT substations, AC and DC distribution, industrial electronics (inverters, rectifiers), and protections, you are proficient in standard and dedicated tools (project management software, financial management of lots). You have the taste and skills to manage the construction works of the electrical systems you designed during the studies. You are familiar with financial management, risk management of an investment project. You demonstrate methodical thinking, team spirit, and adaptability. You know how to negotiate, persuade, and have a good academic background: Engineering degree or equivalent, with more than 5 years of professional experience in managing electrical engineering projects; In addition to the engineering degree, a CFC apprenticeship in electricity with mastery of necessary tools would be an advantage as well as familiarity with specific electrical standards (IEC, NIBT), electrical safety, occupational safety (SUVA), and experience in high voltage electrical distribution substations constitutes strong assets.
