Electromechanical Maintenance TechnicianIntroductionAutonomous public establishment of the Republic and Canton of Neuchâtel, established on several service sites and with around sixty employees distributed mainly in the road and equipment and safety sectors, NEVIA (Neuchâtel Establishment for the Viability of Motorway Infrastructures) ensures the routine maintenance of the N5 – Yverdon-Bienne and N20 – Le Locle motorway axes. We are looking for a motivated and competent Electromechanical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team and contribute to the maintenance and operation of our facilities.Mission:Within a team composed of a dozen employees, you assist the domain managers in carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and safety installations.Essentially active on the motorway, you ensure, in close collaboration with the domain manager, the analysis of malfunctions, the troubleshooting of equipment, and preventive maintenance activities. After internal training, you will also be involved in the maintenance of other electromechanical domains, which will allow you to acquire multidisciplinary technical knowledge. You will often intervene in tunnels, on equipment located sometimes several meters above the ground, and in all weather conditions. In order to limit traffic obstructions, it may happen that you have to carry out work during the night.Finally, you take part in the on-call service provided by the EES sector: thus, about ten times a year, you are on call 24/7 for one week.Profile:You hold a diploma or a CFC in an electrotechnical field, and you have acquired confirmed experience in the maintenance of electromechanical equipment or in after-sales service. Endowed with a sharp sense of responsibility, you are capable of managing your work autonomously, while having a team spirit ensuring good integration within the EES sector.You demonstrate good physical condition; you have a category B driving license.
