It manages SIG engineering projects or external projects by guaranteeing deadlines, costs, quality, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.As an Electrical Engineer (First Job Fixed-Term Contract), you will be in charge of the design/studies (preliminary and detailed) of a portion of electrical installations and/or the monitoring of the execution of corresponding works for infrastructure projects related to transport, electricity distribution, or high-power electricity production (HV/MV substations, hydroelectric production plants, etc.).Your energy at the service of a sustainable GenevaAs an Electrical Engineer (First Job Fixed-Term Contract), your main missions will be as follows:- Carry out all or part of the preliminary project studies;- Carry out, in the detailed study phase, the sizing and detailed technical definition of the various equipment as well as the corresponding general estimate, the tender documents for companies, and the analysis of offers from consulted companies. Develop various requests for electrical monitoring and control bodies;- Ensure the management and monitoring of works, the coordination of various companies, and the acceptance of completed works;- Draft reports and documents necessary for investment decision-making, specifications based on your expertise, establish tender documents, and evaluate technical solutions;- Monitor companies and suppliers to control the proper execution of services performed;- Coordinate the project team, interact with internal stakeholders (Finance, Purchasing, and Legal) and external stakeholders (e.g., partners, authorities);- Ensure project management and corresponding risks to guarantee project costs, quality, and deadlines;- Take charge of the financial and technical management of the projects entrusted to you.Your personality and your skillsBenefiting from excellent theoretical engineering knowledge in electricity for electricity distribution and high-power production installations (HV/MV substation and/or hydroelectric production), you also know the usual and dedicated tools (electrical sizing software, project management, etc.). You possess the taste and skills to pilot the construction works of the electrical installations you designed in studies. You demonstrate a methodical spirit, team spirit, and know how to adapt. The term young graduates is understood as people who have completed their cycle of studies in the last 18 months, in search of a first professional experience in connection with their academic curriculum.Your academic background:- You have just obtained your Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (EPFL or HES or any other equivalent diploma);- Knowledge of Swiss standards and regulations of the profession (IEC, OICF, etc.), electrical safety standards, and work safety (SUVA) constitutes a solid asset;- Comfortable in English (read, written, spoken), knowledge of German is an asset.
