The Le Colibri Association's mission is to provide quality support and supervision for children aged from 3 months up to the 4th year of Primary Harmos.

Our educational approach is based on Christian values such as respect, sharing, listening, and acceptance of others, among others. It aims to promote the emotional, psychomotor, and cognitive development of the child, within a safe environment and respecting each individual's specificities.

As part of our development and to complete our teams, Le Colibri is looking for a:

Educational Director 80%

As the Director of the preschool structure, you play a central role within the organisation, in order to:

• Develop, coordinate, and evolve the educational project
• Ensure compliance with Le Colibri's institutional project, while collaborating with the General Management
• Support professional practices and encourage educational reflection
• Ensure compliance with the cantonal legal framework (OAJE) and safety standards

To do this, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Relationship with children and families

- Supervise and ensure the well-being of children and guarantee the quality of care for children and their families
- Manage visits, registrations, and the planning of children's adaptation periods, in collaboration with the administrative assistant and general management.
- Regularly meet parents as partners, either individually on request, or within meetings or information sessions.

Relationship with the team

- Participate in daily management in collaboration with the management
- Guide, support, and supervise the educational team

- Organise and lead team meetings and conferences

- Manage weekly meetings with the educational team
- Organise the supervision of interns and apprentices

Administrative tasks

- Manage scheduling of hours, holidays, absences, and replacements of the structure's staff

- Keep the daily attendance list of children up to date

- Ensure compliance with the budget allocated to the structure

You must hold an EDE diploma classification 1 HES and a CAS in team managementYou have a minimum of 5 years' professional experience as an early childhood educator.

You have a good knowledge of the legal framework and early childhood issues in the Canton of Vaud.

You demonstrate caring leadership, great autonomy, and organisation. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and communicate effectively.
