The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the City of Geneva's policy in favor of early childhood, by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting the childcare facilities it subsidizes. In order to complete the team of the Eglantyne Jebb childcare facility for the start of the school year, we are looking for an early childhood professional at 80%.Your mission and responsibilities- Organize the reception and support of children (0 to 4 years old), guaranteeing quality care in accordance with current standards.- Contribute to the implementation of the childcare facility's educational project and the institutional one.- Develop and implement actions in connection with the educational project.- Accompany and supervise the activity of interns, learners, childcare assistants, and aides.- Foster a group dynamic conducive to the awakening, development, and well-being of children (0 to 4 years old).- Ensure the reception and transmission of information to families.- Participate in the organization and conduct of meetings and exchanges with representatives of the team.Profile- Hold a Higher School diploma in Early Childhood from Geneva or Lausanne (ESEDE), or a diploma equivalent and recognized by the SEFRI.- Demonstrate team spirit, enthusiasm, openness, and kindness.- Demonstrate great listening skills, good stress management, and ease in communication.- Possess successful experience of at least 2 years with early childhood children.Conditions and registration procedureRegistration deadline:Start date:Job classification: Class I of the salary scaleThe application file must contain the following elements:- Cover letter- Curriculum vitae or, failing that, a completed Job Application form (to be downloaded from our website)- Copies of diplomas and work certificatesFollow-up of applicationsFor the City of Geneva, the recruitment process is decentralized.
