The HUG nurseries comprise two sites with gardens, one located on the Belle-Idée estate in Chêne-Bourg and the other near the cantonal hospital, as well as a daycare primarily aimed at children from the age of four months to five years. In the role of caregiver for young children, you will conduct welcome and care activities for children aged 4 months to 5 years, applying the pedagogical approach defined in the institutional project of the HUG nurseries. You will provide individualized support based on the needs and characteristics of the children, participate in and implement the project inspired by Emmi Pikler's work, and ensure the safety of the children by continuously creating an environment conducive to their development and well-being. To achieve this, you will work as a team in an approach centered on the needs of the children. You hold a diploma in childhood care issued by the ESEDE or a diploma in childhood from the SASAJ, allowing you to hold this position in a nursery in the canton of Geneva and have additional professional experience. The positions are located at our 3 sites, namely at the Magnolias nursery (Belle-Idée), at the Kangaroos (Cluse-Roseraie), as well as at the daycare center.
