The Early Childhood Service (SDPE) is responsible for implementing the City of Geneva's policy in favor of early childhood, by managing municipal childcare facilities and supporting those it subsidizes. As part of leave replacements for the Marie Goegg-Pouchoulin early childhood sector, which includes two daycare centers, a parent-child space, and a kindergarten, totaling 171 childcare places, we are looking for an early childhood professional 80% - 100%.Your mission and responsibilities:- Organize the reception and support of children while ensuring quality and compliance with current standards.- Contribute to and ensure the implementation of the pedagogical project of the childcare facility and the institution.- Develop and implement actions in connection with the pedagogical project.- Accompany and supervise the activity of interns, learners, early childhood educators (ASE), and assistants.- Create a group dynamic favorable to the awakening, development, and well-being of the children.- Ensure communication and the transmission of information to families.- Collaborate in the organization and facilitation of meetings and exchanges with representatives.Profile:- Hold a recognized early childhood diploma (ESEDE) or a title deemed equivalent (SEFRI recognition).- Demonstrate team spirit, capacity for initiative, enthusiasm, openness, and benevolence.- Demonstrate a great capacity for listening, good stress management, and ease in communication.As part of its policy of equality between women and men, the City of Geneva wishes to promote diversity in all services.
