Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Project ManagerThe Vaud University of Teacher Education ensures the professional training of teachers for all levels of schooling. It conducts research and development work focused on the needs of teaching and education. It offers continuing and advanced education, as well as a range of services intended for all education professionals. We are advertising the position of:Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Project ManagerStart date: August 15 or by arrangementActivity rate: 60%Duration of contract: Fixed-term until July 31 with possible renewal as a permanent contractSalary level: Class 12 of the RSRC of the Canton of VaudYour main activities:In general, you will carry out a transversal mission of steering, coordination, and support for the institutional policy of the HEP Vaud in terms of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). In support of the Executive Committee, you will contribute to the definition of strategies and ensure monitoring as well as benchmarking of practices in the field of higher education. You will lead the implementation and monitoring of institutional action plans in this area. In this capacity, you will coordinate the contributions of the various academic and administrative entities of the HEP Vaud, develop the monitoring and evaluation tools necessary for achieving objectives, and ensure the associated institutional reporting.You will support units and services in the development of their projects and practices in terms of DEI, promote the coherence of actions carried out at the institutional level, and contribute to the promotion of the commitments of the HEP Vaud to its internal and external partners. You will also represent the institution within specialized networks and bodies at the cantonal, national, and international levels.Your profile:You hold a university Master's degree in a field relevant to the position. A doctorate constitutes an asset. You have confirmed professional experience of approximately 2-3 years minimum in project management, ideally in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion and/or public policy. Good knowledge of the higher education system and its institutional environment is required. You can demonstrate scientific knowledge in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. You possess a strategic and systemic vision as well as solid experience in steering and managing transversal projects in complex environments. You have excellent analytical, synthesis, and writing skills, and you are comfortable drafting documents and interacting with varied interlocutors.
