On behalf of one of our clients, a recognised player in the watchmaking industry, we are looking for a Stamping Operator / Press Mechanic-Setter (M/F).

Your mission

• Prepare the cutting tools: assembly, adjustment, fine-tuning

• Carry out series changes and production start-ups

• Ensure maintenance and repair of tools during production cycles

• Analyse aesthetic and dimensional defects of stamped parts and propose corrective actions

• Perform end-of-production diagnostics and carry out necessary work

• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing and assembly processes (tools and parts)

• Be a driving force in raising issues and sharing information between teams
  

Profile sought

• Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic, micromechanic or equivalent training
  (a specialisation in stamping is a real asset)

• Experience in tooling, assembly of mechanical/micromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies

• Mastery of mechanical component manufacturing on presses

• Experience in cutting, follow-up tools and cutting presses highly appreciated

• Used to working in a high-volume production environment

• Strong knowledge of mechanics and micromechanics (stamping is a plus)

• Comfortable with office IT tools
