Radiotherapy Technician at 100%

Reference: CLS/RH/2026.764 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday with two shifts: 7:15am-4:15pm or 9:00am-6:00pm / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")
Why do we need you?
Following the departure of one of our technicians, we are looking for a radiotherapy technician to complete our team. Every day, you will put your technical and interpersonal skills to work to provide humane and safe care.
What will you be expected to do?
- Welcome and inform patients and their relatives, guiding them with empathy throughout their treatment.
- Set up and position patients considering their comfort, physical and psychological state.
- Conduct radiotherapy sessions in compliance with medical protocols, ensuring safety, radiation protection and quality of care at all times, either independently or in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Optimally use the department’s equipment and ensure the quality of imaging expected by the radiotherapy doctors.
- Implement necessary immobilisation devices and rigorously apply the planned dosimetry, while adapting protocols according to medical recommendations.
- Relay medical instructions, especially for patients requiring special monitoring during or after sessions.
- Participate in organising the department’s activities and contribute to the integration and training of new colleagues and students.

In this role, you will be supervised by Malika Boutera, Head of Radiology and Radiotherapy Services, who has solid management experience.
