Site Manager (m/f/d) - Sushi Mania Vuadens


We are looking for a visionary leader to steer our company towards new heights in a transforming environment. If you excel in strategy, change management and leadership, and know how to unite your teams to bring out their best, this challenge is made for you!

What you will achieve

  • Overall responsibility for the operational management and strategic development of the production site (around 130 employees)
  • Direct supervision of the production, quality, logistics, maintenance, purchasing and SHE (safety, health, environment) departments
  • Coordination of the local management team and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration within the matrix (finance/IT, marketing/R&D, HR)
  • Ensuring smooth production in accordance with defined quality standards and guaranteeing delivery availability
  • Creation and maintenance of safe and healthy workstations, as well as continuous development of a positive safety culture
  • Compliance with environmental regulations and active implementation of sustainability objectives
  • Responsibility for planning and budget adherence, as well as cost optimisation at the production site
  • Participation in the design of a new production site in Farvagny and ensuring the successful transfer to this new site
  • Analysis and continuous improvement of production processes according to LEAN principles to increase efficiency and quality

What you bring

  • Education: Completed studies (Uni/VET, UAS, ES)
  • Specialisation: in engineering, food technology, business management or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience: Minimum 10 years of management experience in an industrial production environment, especially in the food sector
  • Experience in managing and successfully implementing complex transformation projects, with proven change management skills
  • Inspirational and inclusive leadership with an entrepreneurial spirit, economic and conceptual thinking
  • Excellent communication skills and strong persuasion ability, as well as problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Solid knowledge in production, quality, logistics, purchasing and finance
  • High stress resilience and adaptability in a dynamic work environment
  • French (C1)
  • German (A1)
  • English (ADVANTAGEOUS)
