As part of our day care service promoting openness, breaking down barriers and the development of self-determined life projects, and to complete the support team of the Alternative Reception Unit (UAA), we are looking for a Qualified Social Educator or MSP (M/F) at an 80% activity rate.

Mission

You create stimulating reception conditions to ensure beneficiaries the greatest possible autonomy in their life journey by developing their abilities to know, to be and to do. You consolidate the specialised activities of the UAA, in the form of workshops among others, by being a quality professional in supporting beneficiaries.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the individual project within the collective.

  • Support the beneficiary in their needs and objectives.

  • Support learning in daily life activities.

  • Support people with psycho-behavioural disorders, pervasive developmental disorders and/or associated psychiatric disorders.

  • Be able to propose creative and well-being activities.

  • Collaborate with families and guardians, giving them a partner role: development and implementation of the beneficiary’s individual project.

  • Systemic work with all networks.

  • Follow up on the beneficiary’s file.

  • Ensure administrative tasks related to the service’s operation.

Desired Profile

  • Diploma in social work at ES or HES level, ASE.

  • Experience in a day structure and knowledge of Makaton training is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge of ASD and specific support (communication, TEACCH, etc.).

  • Ease in teamwork and communication, organisation and task sharing.

  • Versatility, reliability and dynamism.

  • Good knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office programmes.

  • Driving licence required.

Permanent contract.

Regular daytime hours, during the week.
