What you can contribute

• lead administrative projects related to communicable diseases, such as the revision of the Epidemics Act or the development of strategies, while coordinating the corresponding sub-projects and processes
• manage the processes necessary for the development of legal bases, files concerning strategies and programmes, measures, implementation plans, consultations, proposals to the Federal Council, etc.
• ensure that tasks are carried out effectively and efficiently, and implement decisions regarding prioritisation and abandonment of tasks
• prepare planning files, including finances and impact objectives, in accordance with FOPH regulations
• guarantee optimal collaboration with all FOPH departments, with bodies comprising several offices and departments, with certain national authorities and with the cantons

What makes you unique

• university degree in natural, social or political sciences, communication or psychology; further training in public health, epidemiology or project management
• extensive experience in project management and political processes within the administration
• management of multidisciplinary matrix organisations
• good knowledge of the Swiss health system and political landscape
• ability to communicate skilfully, didactically and appropriately to target groups
• active knowledge of two official languages and, if possible, passive knowledge of the third
