Mandated by one of our clients, we are looking for a:



Quality Control Operator - Metallurgical Production (M/F)



  • Technical training at CFC, AFP level or equivalent in an industrial, mechanical, metallurgical or quality field.
  • Proven experience in quality control in an industrial environment, ideally in metallurgy.
  • Proficiency with measuring instruments: caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, etc.
  • Knowledge of dimensional control, visual inspection and quality requirements.
  • Experience with optical measurement systems, LIMS or ERP is an advantage.
  • Person who is rigorous, precise, organised, autonomous and enjoys teamwork.
  • Carry out dimensional checks of products using conventional and automated measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, optical measurement systems).
  • Perform metallurgical hardness tests and ensure the reliability of the results obtained.
  • Ensure visual conformity checks in accordance with current quality requirements.
  • Work closely with the metallurgical laboratory for planning, monitoring and coordinating analyses and quality controls (FOR035, LIMS).
  • Ensure the availability, compliance and traceability of the measuring instrument fleet, in compliance with ISO procedures and metrological requirements.
  • Carry out periodic checks of control equipment and ensure the updating of monitoring data on internal tools.
  • Provide support for the department's logistical activities, particularly for the preparation of castings, material movements and inventory operations.
  • Participate in the various stages of manufacturing alloyed semi-finished products, including rolling, heat treatments, cutting, shearing, satin finishing and straightening operations.
  • Contribute to preventive maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Manage material flows related to subcontracting: preparation of shipments, receipt of returns and coordination of associated metallurgical analyses with the laboratory.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives regarding quality, safety, performance and department organisation.
