For one of our renowned clients based in Le Sentier, recognised for its excellent expertise and the high quality of its achievements, we are looking for a passionate and meticulous Workshop Carpenter (M/F).



Workshop Carpenter (M/F)



Your professional responsibilities will include:

  • Shaping and machining: Cutting, machining, profiling and assembling various wooden and derivative elements (furniture, interior fittings, interior joinery).

  • Plan reading: Autonomous interpretation of manufacturing plans and Swiss technical sheets (including CAD/CAM).

  • Machine use: Setting and operating conventional and numerical workshop machines (CNC).

  • High precision finishing: Sanding, veneering, meticulous adjustments and surface preparation before treatment.

  • Quality control: Checking the conformity of manufactured parts and respecting imposed production deadlines. Selecting materials (wood species, derivative panels, hardware) according to the project and technical constraints.

Your profile:

  • Training: You hold a Carpenter Federal VET Diploma, a Cabinetmaker Federal VET Diploma or an equivalent qualification.

  • Experience: You have significant experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a similar workshop position (knowledge of the Swiss market and standards is a strong asset).

  • Technical skills: You are autonomous, precise and have excellent plan reading skills as well as perfect mastery of workshop tools.

  • Interpersonal skills: Team spirit, rigour, versatility and attention to detail characterise your working method.
