You will ensure the monitoring of the operation of the FER Geneva buildings, as well as various tasks related to the installations and equipment of the buildings. You play an essential role in the daily smooth running of our infrastructures, intervening in varied missions combining maintenance, technical support and equipment management.

Main responsibilities:

- Monitor faults inherent to the buildings.

- Coordinate routine maintenance work (preventive) and repairs (corrective).

- Oversee the services of contracting companies, control the quality of work and accept the completed works.

- Carry out periodic inspections of the works. Analyse malfunctions and propose remedies.

- Assist and occasionally replace colleagues on other tasks.

- Ensure the accuracy of the FER Geneva building plans and keep them constantly up to date.

- Ensure the disposal of rubbish and waste.

- Run errands and handle external transports.

- Regularly provide on-call duty and respond to on-site interventions in case of technical alarms.

- Occasionally provide emergency on-call service.

Qualifications:

- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an Operations Agent or an equivalent recognised qualification.

- You have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.

- You master building techniques as well as building safety regulations.

- You hold a category B driving licence for professional travel.

- You are familiar with safety standards as well as SIA norms.

Skills and competencies:

- First-level technical versatility (basic electricity, minor plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, painting).
