System & DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)
Your profile – what you bring:
- Several years of experience in the DevOps environment and operating cloud infrastructures.
- Sound knowledge of Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience in automation with Terraform and GitLab CI/CD.
- Know-how in operating messaging systems such as Kafka.
- You speak fluent German and are proficient in English; French is a great plus.
Your tasks & freedoms:
- Further development and maintenance of the infrastructure-as-code environment for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform and GitLab.
- Support in operating the Kubernetes infrastructure using Flux (GitOps).
- Ensuring smooth operation of all applications provided as Docker images.
- Maintenance and optimisation of the CI/CD pipelines in GitLab as well as the container registry.
- Operation and further development of the Kafka cluster and support in MariaDB administration.
- Evaluation and implementation of monitoring solutions to proactively ensure system stability.
- Participation in architectural decisions and contributing the operational perspective.
- Opportunity to collaborate in backend development with Java Spring Boot.
