Price Control and Cost Efficiency Specialist
Within our team dedicated to price control and fraud prevention, you play a key role by managing the daily analysis of billing practices of healthcare providers. Your objective? Identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with legal bases (LAMal/LCA) and guarantee efficient use of resources, while maintaining a constructive relationship with providers and partners.
What you do daily
You manage the role of analyst and pricing specialist: you collect relevant data to establish statistics using available tools or by making requests to the dedicated service. You process this data with indicators (benchmarking, trends, proportions, etc.), then you carry out targeted controls based on observed discrepancies. Finally, you analyse, summarise and propose recommendations or concrete actions.
You also ensure a coordination role: you communicate the results of your analyses internally. You implement defined actions and follow up on recommendations with the various concerned departments (invoice control, negotiation, blocking parameter settings, etc.). You also participate in cross-functional projects.
Finally, you handle negotiations with healthcare providers in case of billing deviations: you lead discussions to obtain a refund, correction of billing practices or any other necessary action. You collaborate with the legal department if a procedure must be initiated before the courts.
What you bring to the team
You master analytical and numerical skills: you know how to handle data, produce reliable analyses and present them clearly. You write structured and relevant summaries, and you work independently. You also have strong interpersonal skills and know how to conduct negotiations effectively.
You are a pricing specialist in the health sector: you use Microsoft tools, notably Excel at an advanced level, and you utilise data tools such as Power BI or equivalents. You rely on basic statistical knowledge to analyse and interpret data.
You have a commercial education, in the health sector or from a university of applied sciences and have acquired at least 5 years of experience in health insurance or hospital settings, in an analyst or management control role.
