We are looking for our client in the canton of Geneva for long-term temporary assignments for Social & Educational Assistants (M/F).
Social & Educational Assistant
Your mission:
- Individualised support for residents
- Support in personal projects (needs, resources, pace)
- Assistance with daily living activities
- Coordination with the social-health network
- Support for appointments (according to specific needs)
- Organisation of individual and group activities
- Promotion of participation, expression and personal development
- Encouragement of social and cultural life
- Development of autonomy and integration
- Contribution to the functioning of the unit
- Participation in team reflections
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and continuous improvement
Required skills:
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as Social & Educational Assistant
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of the psychological field / clients in difficulty
- Support for adults with psychological disorders
- Awareness of social issues
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility and organisation
- Open-mindedness, adaptability, availability
- Teamwork and interdisciplinarity
- Good oral and written communication
- Active listening and empathy
- Excellent command of French (oral and written)
- Good writing skills
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
