On behalf of an international company active in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, we are looking for a Purchaser to strengthen the Supply Chain team based in Geneva.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you ensure product availability while optimising stock levels and supply flows with international suppliers.
Purchaser
Your responsibilities:
- Manage supplies and guarantee product availability according to sales forecasts,
- Analyse needs, initiate and monitor supplier orders,
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met and anticipate risks of shortages or overstock,
- Coordinate exchanges with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams (logistics, finance, sales),
- Update reference data in the ERP system.
Your profile:
- Higher education in Purchasing Management or equivalent field,
- Proven experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a purchasing role, ideally in an FMCG, food or retail environment,
- Excellent command of Excel and experience using an ERP system,
- Good understanding of international flows and stock management,
- Analytical skills, rigour and organisational sense,
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders,
- Fluent French and good level of professional English.
