SmartBee is a Swiss IT service provider based in Carouge - Geneva. We support micro and small to medium-sized enterprises in the design, deployment, and operation of their IT infrastructures.
In a growth context, we have been mandated to find an IT Business Developer / IT Commercial Development Manager based in Carouge to strengthen their presence with micro and small to medium-sized enterprises in the Geneva region and the Lake Geneva area. Part-time work is possible.
The offer includes professional services, managed services, network infrastructures, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, business telephony, as well as hosting of services and virtual machines.
SmartBee works with recognised technology partners such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Sophos and other major market players to provide reliable, secure, and tailored solutions to our clients' needs.
IT Business Developer / IT Commercial Development Manager
Your missions:
- Develop and retain a portfolio of SMEs among micro and small to medium-sized enterprises in Romandy
- Prospect and generate business opportunities
- Advise clients on their IT challenges and digital transformation
- Present and promote our services: IT department outsourcing, IT and network infrastructures, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 and cloud solutions, business telephony, hosting and virtualisation
- Prepare commercial offers in collaboration with our technical teams.
- Ensure administrative follow-up of opportunities, quotes, contracts, and client files.
- Keep the CRM up to date and provide regular reporting.
- Participate in professional events and develop your local network.
- Contribute to the evolution of SmartBee's service portfolio by identifying emerging market needs.
- Participate in the definition and launch of new offers, particularly in the fields of artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity, and cloud services.
- Be proactive in developing new business opportunities and strengthening SmartBee's positioning in the French-speaking Swiss market.
Your profile:
- Engineering profile with successful experience in B2B sales in the IT, Telecom, or technology services sector in Switzerland (mandatory).
- Excellent prospecting and business development skills (multi-channel). Ease in relating to executives, IT managers, and decision-makers.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in new technologies (cloud, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, automation).
- Flawless French (C2) and a very good level of professional English (B2/C1).
- Organised, autonomous, rigorous, persevering, and enjoys challenges.
- Comfortable with administrative tasks related to commercial management.
- Driving licence and mobility in the Lake Geneva region.
