Your mission in Biel
In this responsible position as commander of the regional fire brigade of the Biel agglomeration, you lead an experienced team of nearly 40 professional firefighters, who ensure safety in the region 24 hours a day. During major events, the fire brigade militia, which has about a hundred members, supports the professional firefighters.

- Do you maintain an overview even in stressful situations and make clear and confident decisions?
- Do you have experience in planning and leading interventions?
- Can you motivate, encourage and develop your team with tact and enthusiasm?
- Do you enjoy taking on responsibilities, especially regarding budget, resources and development?
It goes without saying that you confidently represent the fire brigade to internal and external partners and communicate assuredly in French and German.

The Biel firefighters provide first aid in case of fires, all kinds of accidents, natural events and CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) incidents. We are committed 24 hours a day to the safety of people and animals and ensure the protection of the environment and property.
