The Vaud Canton University of Teacher Education provides professional training for teachers of all school levels. It conducts research and development work focused on the needs of teaching and education. It offers continuing and advanced training, as well as a range of services, intended for all education professionals.
We are advertising the position of
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Project Officer (ref. 469)
Start date: 15 August 2026 or to be agreed
Work rate: 60%
Contract duration: fixed-term contract until 31 July 2028 with possible renewal as a permanent contract
Salary level: class 12 of the RSRC of the State of Vaud
Your main activities:
You lead the development, implementation and monitoring of institutional action plans in this area. In this capacity, you coordinate the contributions of the various academic and administrative entities of HEP Vaud, develop the monitoring and evaluation tools necessary to achieve the objectives, and ensure the associated institutional reporting.
You support units and services in carrying out their projects and initiatives in the field of DEI, promote the coherence of actions undertaken at the institutional level and contribute to enhancing HEP Vaud’s commitments with its internal and external partners. You also represent the institution within specialised networks and bodies at the cantonal, national and international levels.
You hold a university Master’s degree in a field relevant to the role. A doctorate is an asset. You have a confirmed professional experience of approximately 2-3 years minimum in project management, ideally in the field of diversity, equity and inclusion and/or public policies. A good knowledge of the Swiss higher education system and its institutional environment is required.
Endowed with excellent analytical, synthesis and communication skills, you are comfortable drafting strategic documents and interacting with diverse stakeholders. You show autonomy, rigour and a strong collaborative spirit, and know how to unite different actors around common goals.
