For our partner, a well-established family business in measurement solutions, tool management and automation for the precision industry, with a site based in the canton of Bern and a service area mainly in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a



After-Sales Technician (Polymechanic) 80-100%



Your responsibilities:

  • Ensure maintenance, inspection, repair and troubleshooting of measuring equipment
  • Install and commission hardware and software solutions at clients’ premises
  • Train and support users on site and remotely
  • Provide technical support to clients and partners, both on site and remotely
  • Create and configure data transfers via post-processors
  • Thoroughly document all interventions
  • Actively contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Travel regularly in French-speaking Switzerland, with occasional assignments elsewhere in Switzerland and some overnight stays to be expected

Your profile:

  • Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as polymechanic or training in precision mechanics – mandatory
  • Valued assets: experience in mobile after-sales service, knowledge of CNC machines, metrology, precision machining or industrial IT
  • Strong affinity for IT and good knowledge of Windows networks
  • Fluent French, very good knowledge of German or English
  • Autonomy, sense of responsibility and strong customer orientation
  • Structured working method and ability to work independently
  • Valid driving licence and availability for regular travel in French-speaking Switzerland
  • Residence in French-speaking Switzerland highly appreciated, headquarters based in the canton of Bern
