Carouge, a civic city, a city of culture and integration, a city resolutely looking towards the future, is seeking
to fill positions within its Child Services department for:
CHILDCARE EDUCATORS AT 100%
Since 1 January 2026, the child living spaces (Eves) have been fully integrated into the City of Carouge.
This municipalisation is part of an approach to enhance professions, professionalise practices, and manage the services of the nine early childhood care structures.

Under the responsibility of the structure’s management, you will mainly be in charge of:
- Welcoming, supporting, and managing a group of children;
- Planning and proposing activities and events;
- Participating in the development of the educational project led by the structure and implementing it daily;
- Collaborating to establish and maintain an atmosphere favourable to the development of each child within the group;
- Establishing partnerships with parents and/or any resource persons;
- Sharing and exchanging knowledge, analyses, and reflections with other professionals;
- Collaborating closely and actively with partners from the internal and external network.

YOU OFFER
- A Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or recognised equivalent;
- Swiss nationality or possession of a valid work permit;
- Enthusiasm and a strong team spirit;

Grade 7 (early childhood scale based on 35 days)
