Description
For one of our clients, we are looking for a qualified nurse available quickly to join a dynamic outpatient facility specialising in the care of patients requiring regular therapeutic follow-up.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing care and therapeutic activities according to medical prescriptions and current protocols.
- Prepare and administer treatments according to established procedures.
- Ensure the reception, support and follow-up of patients throughout their care.
- Assess the specific needs of patients and guarantee personalised care.
- Ensure proactive and effective communication with the referring doctors to guarantee the safety and quality of care.
- Ensure traceability of care and rigorous record keeping.
- Collaborate closely with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in stock and equipment management.
- Contribute to maintaining hygiene standards and disinfecting the care environment.
Profile
- Swiss nursing diploma or foreign diploma recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
- Proven experience in nursing care.
- Experience in oncology is a valued asset but not essential.
- Ability to work independently while promoting interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and listening ability.
- Rigorous, methodical and conscientious personality.
- Good stress management and emotional stability in sometimes complex situations.
- Ease in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in French; any other language is an asset.
Benefits
- 6-month fixed-term contract with possibility of transition to a permanent position.
- Activity rate: 80%.
- Availability from Monday to Friday.
- Daytime hours within a range from 08:00 to 18:30.
- Activity spread over two sites in the Lausanne region.
