Mechanical Design Engineer 100% Permanent Contract (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Design technical solutions meeting the requirements and specifications of clients operating in demanding industrial environments
• Carry out preliminary studies, sizing calculations, and technical analyses necessary for project success
• Work closely with various departments to ensure the technical and industrial feasibility of proposed solutions
• Develop mechanical concepts and ensure the preparation of plans and manufacturing documentation
• Oversee the technical follow-up of manufacturing, assembly, as well as testing in the workshop and on site
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, design methods, and internal processes
• Participate in drafting technical proposals integrated into commercial offers

Profile

• Engineering degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent training
• Proven experience of at least 10 years in the design of industrial machines, heavy equipment, or welded mechanical structures
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, boiler making, and welding techniques
• Good command of 3D design software, as well as the entire development process up to the manufacturing dossier
• Autonomous, inventive and pragmatic personality, with excellent analytical and organisational skills
• Fluency in French and good knowledge of English
