On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a machining methods technician (M/F).
Your future responsibilities:
- You will develop and validate programmes for machining equipment, ensuring their compliance with technical and quality requirements.
- You will monitor and communicate the progress of activities to the various stakeholders.
- You will participate in the industrialisation of new products and processes by defining and formalising reference standards.
- You will carry out tests and validations in production in collaboration with partner teams and write the associated technical reports.
- You will update and manage technical data related to equipment, processes and manufacturing operations.
- You will analyse and optimise manufacturing processes to improve their efficiency, quality and performance.
- You will actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and deploying appropriate solutions.
- You will provide technical support to production teams to resolve operational issues and ensure business continuity.
- You will participate in the analysis of industrial performance indicators and implement targeted improvement actions.
- You will work closely with methods, quality and maintenance departments to ensure the reliability of production means and compliance with set objectives.
Your profile:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a polymechanic, a HES Engineer degree, a ES Technician in microtechnology or an equivalent qualification in the field of precision mechanics.
- You have solid experience in machining on turning and milling centres, with excellent mastery of ISO programming and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) tools.
- You are proficient in CAM software, notably CREO and GibbsCAM, and have good knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- You possess strong technical skills in industrial mechanics, including machine setup, tool selection and assembly.
- You enjoy teamwork and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders in a production environment.
- You demonstrate rigour, precision and excellent organisational skills in carrying out your tasks.
- You have excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling you to provide solutions adapted to technical challenges.
- You can manage priorities autonomously while respecting quality, cost and deadline objectives.
- You have a strong interest in continuous improvement and optimisation of manufacturing processes.
- You communicate easily and foster effective collaboration between different company departments.
- You show great adaptability to technological changes and new industrial challenges.
- You are proactive and actively contribute to improving performance and working methods.
