Legal Service (SJEN)
The SJEN is a cross-departmental service of the State attached to the Department of Security, Digitalisation and Culture (DSDC). It supports the entire cantonal administration as well as the legislative and executive authorities. The service is composed of 29 people.

Your tasks
You handle all legal issues arising for the State and its institutions, particularly in the following areas:
- planning/construction;
- road traffic;
- migration.
Within the complex environment of the relevant fields, independently and responsibly, you primarily draft decision proposals on appeals, prepare legal opinions, legislative texts and provide advice.
The position is to be filled between 60% and 80% until 31 December 2029 on a fixed-term contract (FTC).

Your profile
Holder of a Swiss law degree or master’s, you have at least 3 years of professional experience. A lawyer’s certificate is an asset.
Your strong interest in public and administrative law is accompanied by a great sense of responsibility and a genuine ability to work independently as well as within a team. Furthermore, you have an excellent command of the French language, good written knowledge of German, and are proficient with common office tools, notably Word and Outlook.
