What you can contribute

  • develop and lead projects for the revision of laws and ordinances; draft impactful reports and messages as well as other documents on exciting topics for the department, the Federal Council and the Parliament
  • represent the position of the administration and the Federal Council within political and specialised bodies
  • handle parliamentary interventions
  • ensure legal supervision and the application of the law
  • independently manage administrative and appeal procedures and represent the administration before the competent authorities and courts

What makes you unique

  • degree in law (bachelor or master), preferably with a lawyer’s licence
  • knowledge of general administrative law and social insurance law and/or experience in these areas, ideally in accident insurance law
  • quick-wittedness, strong ability to analyse legal and political issues systematically as well as a goal- and performance-oriented working method
  • strong social skills and willingness to collaborate constructively with the team and stakeholders
  • active knowledge of at least two official languages; the main working language is German
